On the importance of elections

In last weeks CPAC, election integrity came up as the most important issue for conservative politicians to address. It’s a truly unusual world when the importance of elections comes up as a primary concern for an entire political base to be focused on in a liberalized society. However, I wouldn’t say it’s necessarily surprising seeing as the majority of republicans believe that the previous presidential election was corrupted. This is by no small margin either, recent polls show somewhere between 75–85% of republicans and even 45–50% of democrats don’t believe…
